Amelia W. Ruggles
Attorney Amelia Ruggles focuses her practice in the areas of Probate and Estate Planning, Business Succession, Corporate and Real Estate Law. Amelia chose this area of law as she enjoys working with individuals throughout the process of planning for the future and also guiding them through estate administration.
Ms. Ruggles has been with SSEG since 2023 when she began working as a law clerk throughout her time in law school. As a law student, Amelia also gained valuable experience as an intern and an extern under the Honorable Judge James W. Conway in the Huron County Court of Common Pleas.
Ms. Ruggles received her Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude honors, from Capital University in 2022 and her Juris Doctor, cum laude honors, from Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law in 2025. At Ohio Northern, Amelia was on the Executive Board for the Ohio Northern University Law Review and served on the Executive Board for the Ohio Northern University Student Bar Association. Amelia was also a teaching assistant for Legal Research and Writing and studied law abroad in London, England.
Ms. Ruggles resides in Norwalk, Ohio on her family’s ninth generation family farm. She is an active member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Norwalk and serves as a 4-H Advisor in Huron County. Amelia is active in several Bar Associations including Huron County, Cleveland Metropolitan, and Ohio State Bar.
