Dan Gourash to Moderate Cannabis Conference Panel

Dan Gourash, Attorney at Seeley, Savidge, Ebert and GourashSSEG partner Dan Gourash has been invited to moderate a panel at the upcoming American Bar Association – Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) national conference on cannabis and hemp law titled “From Regs to Riches: Navigating the Rapidly Emerging Fields of Cannabis and Hemp Law.” The conference is being held at the downtown Intercontinental Hotel in Chicago on September 19th and 20th, 2019.

The cannabis and hemp industry are growing at a frenetic pace, and combined they are expected to become a multi-billion per year market sector in just 10 years, split about 2/3 for recreational use and 1/3 for medial use.  From the conference brochure:

“The legal and policy landscape for cannabis and hemp is complex. It involves state and local government regulation and compliance, legal ethics and social justice issues, banking, employment, insurance, international markets and regulation, intellectual property, product liability and environmental matters. This conference will address all of these topics and more.”

Dan Gourash will be moderating a panel of four of his peers on the topic of “Permits, Regulations & Compliance, Oh My! Do You Still Want to Be a Cannabis Lawyer?”
